Clomiphene Citrate and irregular BBT's....From: Michelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 4 Feb 1999 14:19:50 -0600 (CST)
Hi there... I have a few questions I need answered, if anyone could help that is! Ok, to begin with, I had not had a period for 4 months, Dr's saying that this could have been due to very large ovarian cysts on both my left and right ovaries. Had these removed via laparotomy in late November 98. (Recent ultrasound ruled out PCO's). I had a period on my own day one being 24th Jan 99. As we have been trying to concieve for 7 months now, I resorted to taking BBT's and checking cervical mucous. I started to take Clomiphene Citrate (Clomid) 50mg on the 28th Jan. (from day 5 thru 9 of my cycle). My temps so far have been up and down; Day 1- 36.4 (degrees celcius), Day 2- 36.3, Day 3- 35.9, Day 4- 36.1, Day 5- 35.8, Day 6- 36.0, Day 7- 36.4, Day 8- 36.2, Day 9- 36.1, Day 10- 35.9, Day 11- 35.9, Day 12- 36.0, Day 13- 35.6 (today). Todays temp is as low as it has been, I am wondering, if I assume correctly, could this be the `Dip' before the big "O"? I have not really had regular periods, and have never taken any notice of my temps or CM before. I already have one child, concieved without even trying, and I was on `the pill'! I am not stressed at all by trying, afterall the more fun in trying :-) I am so excited I guess just to think that this could be the month for me....We are so wanting to have another baby. Hoping someone can reply to my e-mail. Thanks in advance to everyone who reads this. I have posted a question before and it was answered so profesionally, and all the Dr's are so down-to-earth and responses so easy to understand.
