Re: round ligament pain?From: Christina (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 3 Feb 1999 11:55:48 -0500
I actually had the same symptom as my first indication of being pregnant. I did normally have cramps premenstrually but these were a little different than my normal cramps. They were right in the middle of my lower abdomen, above my pubic bone, and felt like a ball being squeezed. It was enough to take my breath away. My premenstrual cramps were lingering pains that took over my entire lower abdomen and lower back. These were sporadic and seemed worse when I'd get up suddenly from a chair or have some kind of quick movement. Check it out with your dr, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Mine subsided around week 10. --Christina
