uncomfortableFrom: Annette (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 1 Feb 1999 08:05:47 -0600 (CST)
I am 6 months pregnant and had to have my cervix sewn shut during my 3rd month. Since then every time I go to the Dr he checks my cervix to be sure that the stitch is holding. However the past two times I have been there for my appt he checks me without the nurse being in the room, only him and me. This makes me uncomfortable to say the least. I have a friend who is also pregnant and had her cervix sewn shut as well but he doesn't check her at all. I realize that we have differing problems, but is there really a need for him to check me each time?
