Hi there, I am not a Dr. or midwife, but I have read enough and been to enough births with midwives (as both labor support and assistant) to know that even if your baby doesn't turn you CAN have your baby vaginally. Your doctor will most likely never even consider this possibility, but there is a lot of information out there that shows that it is just as safe as a c-section (and without the complications that this major surgery can have for you). Try not to freak out tho, most breech babies at 28 weeks do turn, but even if he or she decides to stay that way it is just one of the variations of normal. There are a few ways that have been sucessful in turning breech babies head down. Pelvic tilts and external version are options to discuss with your birth attendant. Also finding a dr. or midwife that trusts your body to be able to give birth safely and believing it yourself, is the most important thing. Birth Blessing!
