Previous message: dr.: "Re: Pregnancy after tubaligation?" My boss had her thyroid eradicated Thursday. She had to take some sort of radiation pill and cannot be around children or pregnant women for 10 days. She's supposedly emitting radiation. I am 32 weeks pg and another coworker is pregnant as well. My boss actually works in another building but will be coming to our building on Monday for a meeting and has told us to come in late so we will not be there when she is. We don't know much about the treatment she had but are wondering if other people are affected by the treatment she received and if so, can they expose us to it. We are also wondering if the radiation lingers after she's gone. I wish I could give more info about the treatment she received but this is all we were told. Thank you for any help you can give.
