I had a vanishing twin. At 10 weeks I had light bleeding. An U/S showed a healthy fetus and a smaller gestational sac that was being reabsorbed. I don't know why this happens but it didn't effect the other. I had other complications but I have a healthy 5 month old today. I hope they see 2 heartbeats on your next U/S. Lori
