Have I selected the right doctor?

For the first time in 13 years of marriage, my husband and I are trying to conceive. I recently made a preconception visit with an OB to make sure I was in "good working order" and shared with him the following: I am 35 years old, have a retroverted uterus, sister and mom have fibroids but I don't know if I do. I have a 17-year history of severe bulimia and major depression, though it's been very successfully treated with Prozac & counseling (I never even considered pregnancy during the eating disorder because I knew I wasn't healthy). I have stopped the Prozac and plan to stay off it during pregnancy, and I now take prenatal vitamins and eat very healthy foods. I worry about relapsing, though. I'm 5'-3" and weigh 102.

He waved off my concerns, didn't do an exam (I haven't had a pap in a year), didn't order any labwork, and told me to go for it, and that we'd see how things went from there. If I didn't conceive in 5 months he wanted to see me again for further evaluation (then I'll be 36!).

Am I being a worrywort, or should I look for a doctor who seems more proactive?
