Susan,
I dont blame you for being concerned - all the symptoms you describe are
definitely warning signs. Is your provider aware of the
headaches/heartburn you have recently been experiencing - if not call
them ASAP. Also, please let them know of your concerns. You should be
able to trust your doctors advice, however, if you have a gut feeling
that things arent quite right let them know and maybe they can do some
additional testing - if not for anything else but to ease your mind.
Insurance should pay because your symptoms warrant it. HELLP syndrome
can have very vague pain and symptoms and sometimes you arent aware
until it is full blown. Pre ecclampsia is also something to be
concerned about. Any unusual stress? Keep up your fluids, salt to taste
and any headache or unusual symptom should be reported to your doctor
ASAP. Good luck - you are almost there! Let us hear of the baby
announcement when he/she arrives!
Best Wishes,
Elizabeth
