Traditionally, we have recommended waiting a year before stopping contraception and becoming pregnant again. Now, more evidence suggests that it is ok to wait 6 months after HCG levels return to zero.

If your doc questions this 6 month number, refer him/her to the latest edition of DeSaia & Creasman's Clinical Gynecologic Oncology.
