Miscarriage Prevention

I am 33 years old and have had 3 miscarriages. Each miscarriage has had a different cause; the first was an ectopic pregnancy, the second was due to low hormone levels and the third was considered a "false pregnancy" (my pregnancy tests all came out positive but a sonogram at 6 weeks showed an empty sac in the uterus) I started bleeding and cramping 3 days after the sonogram was performed. I have had a full workup after the second and third miss as well as chromosome testing (myself and my husband). All results were normal. I would like to know if there is anything I can do before conception to help prevent another miscarriage? I have read that having the level of the hormone prolactin tested because too much has been linked to miscarriage is one hope (the problem is treated with bromocriptine to reduce the levels of this hormone). Can you give me any other suggestions? I am longing to have another child (I have a 4 year old son) but am terrified of setting myself up for another fall. When I was last pregnant I was being treated by a perinatologist but he does not treat pre-pregnancy patients. I am currently seeing a gynocologist who no longer prectices obstetrics. By the way I have been treated for endometriosis (before my son was born) and have been having unprotected intercourse since October of 97 but have not become pregnant. Also, my periods, which came regurlary at 28 days, have lately been 2 - 4 days early. Should I seek the advise of a fertility specialist at this time?
