no capitals -- i'm typing one handed as i pump in prep for returning to work next week.

risks to mom such as diabetes, high blood pressure increase with age. increased risk of having a baby with a chromosomal abnormality like down's syndrome increase with age. fatigue increases with age -- i am 38 and just had my first, so i know what i'm talking about in terms of energy level

but, a healthy older mom is better than an unheathy younger one. the best time to have a child depends on lots of factors, not least of which is one's desire to have a child -- don't get pregnant at 20 because it is easier or somehow better if you'd rather start your family when you are 35 and more settled
