Good Morning,

I had *exactly* what you describe above with my last pregnancy. Seeing how it was my 5th pregnancy and I never had spotting during the previous pregnancies, I was concerned too. During an ultrasound scan, the OB showed me an area near (above/behind?) the placenta where the blood was coming from. I don't remember what he called it. My light spotting ceased around 9 weeks.

Now my perfectly healthy 10mos old daughter is crawling around on the floor getting into everything! I hope it is nothing serious for you as well.
