I have had a client just recently that was told the same thing as you, that she could not breastfeed her baby while on medications. A little research showed that she absolutely COULD and is now successfully breastfeeding her baby while on the medication - off the top of my head I believe it was MEthyldopa. So dont always accept what you are told if your gut tells you differently - a little searching can usually bring you satisfaction! Marys resource is a great one - check it out!
