Hi Rachael, A handy reference book to have for checking on medications while breastfeeding is Medications and Mother's Milk by Tom Hales. Here is the URL for more information: http://neonatal.ttuhsc.edu/lact/html/bookinfo.html I prefer to discuss these issues with the baby's doctor because s/he is the one caring for my child and breastmilk is my baby's main food source. What I do/eat/drink/etc.. affects my baby and therefore her doctor will be the one I turn to if a problem arises. Does this make any sense at almost 2 in the morning? :) Take Care, Mary Shoup Coordinator, Pregnancy & Birth mary.shoup@obgyn.net
