Dear CF either one of two things is happening - either this pregnancy is misdated or unfortunately, things will not end well. i personally have seen cases in which the hcg did strange things and the pregnancy turned out ok. my suggestion is the following - get an ultrasound about a week following the first one. failure to see a fetus with a heart beat is highly suspicious for a pregnancy that will not result in a baby.

as far as anything you can do, short of prayer there is NO therapy which will turn a pathologic pregnancy into a healthy one. what will be will be. talk more with your doctor or other care giver.

hope this is helpful. iat ain't easy, i know. my wife and i went thru this too.

good luck
