It sounds to me that you may have a vaginal infection of some sort, perhaps a yeast infection? I used to get yeast infections like clockwork after taking antibiotics since the antibiotics, while killing the "bad" bacteria for UTIs and bladder infections, would also kill the normal "friendly" flora of the vagina, encouraging yeast to grow. Unfortunately, vaginal infections mask your normal cervical fluid signs that help indicate your fertility status. I wish I could give you advice on whether you're pregnant or not. What was your cervical fluid like around the time before and after when you think you ovulated? Hopefully, that can give you insight on whether you ovulated (ie, cervical fluid got progressively more fluid, stretchy, 'eggwhite' as ovulation approached and occurred). Of course, if you do indeed have a vaginal infection, you might not be able to rely on your cervical fluid sign. There's always a home pregnancy test when the time is right. Most people say to wait until at least your missed period to test, but I tested ealier with the Equate brand (Wal-Mart brand), which is supposed to be able to pick up the lowest level of HCG ("pregnancy hormone") in your urine. (I tested positive with Equate with 2 different pregnancies on the 11th day after ovulation with first morning urine, although the lines were so faint both times that I had to retest 2 days later to be sure.) Do you have a copy of "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler? If not, I say run, don't walk to your nearest bookstore or library to pick it up. I've found that to be the most comprehensive guide out there. I hope some others on the board will chime in with their advice for you. Good luck and keep us posted!
