Strange Pains after Miscarriage.From: Michelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 18 Dec 1998 01:16:07 -0600 (CST)
I'm a 34 y/o mother of three. My last child had to be delievered by cesearian. Since that time, I had an abnormal pap which showed a vaginal wart on my cervix. This was removed during a biopsy & then a procedure where my cervix was frozen was performed. On October 4th of this year I found out I was pregnant. At first everything was seemed to be progressing normally. But as my uterus continued to grow, I developed small pains in my right side right where my c-section scar starts. About 2 weeks ago, I started bleeding & miscarried last Thursday (Dec.10th). Here the last couple of days I have experienced rectal pain everytime I pass gas or have a bowel movement. Also, when my bladder is full, I have some pain right along my cesearian scar. I know from having an ultrasound that my uterus is still swollen, but I'm continuing to have these pains. Also, in the past year or two, I've had these same pains during the first few days of my menstrual period. My question is this: Is it possible that I have adhesions from my cesearian scar? I'm worried because this seems to get progressively worse & my ob/gyn doctor doesn't seemed concerned. Should I try to find another doctor? Thanks in advance for your help.
