Rapid heartbeat and palputationsFrom: mary (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 13 Dec 1998 11:32:17 -0600 (CST)
The closer I come to my due date, the more often I am getting rapid heartbeats and palputations. I was wondering what would be a normal amount of occurance for this. For example, today I am through my second hour straight of rapid heartbeat, approx. 120 beats per minute. I have read that palputations are normal, but to what extent? What causes this, is there any way to keep it from occuring, and is it harmful to the baby? I am currently just starting my eighth month. Any input would be appreciated.
