My new question is this.. at 5 weeks gestation or 7 LMP would you be able to see fetal heartbeat with ultrasound?? This is when the second was diagnosed. Could my doctor have possibly jumped the gun a little? They said they were diagnosing missed abortion because of "little measurable growth" on 2 ultrasounds spaced a week apart.

diminish significantly until after the third or fourth miscarriage.

I HAVE had three miscarriages..which is why I am concerned for this fourth pregnancy. I also had to have D&C 's after two of them (to remove the embryos that were not expelling themselves)
