HeadachesFrom: Valerie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 9 Nov 1998 11:20:25 -0600 (CST)
This is the very beginning of my second pregnancy (5wks). During the first trimester of my first pregnancy I frequently had headaches that were not resolved with Tylenol. In fact the only thing that would bring any temporary relief at all would be ice packs directed to the area. I was never with a diagnosis of preeclampsia and am without history of migraine headache (I am without auras...no scotoma etc..) Is there something I can do during my pregnancy to prevent these headaches or to treat them better. I will have these headaches throughout the entire night especially if I move my head and the ice pack moves away. Thanks for your help. Is the max dose on regular Tylenol the same as in nonpregnant state (10 grams per day). At this time I have been fairly conservative on the amount of Tylenol per day.
