fourth miscarriage, need help!From: Andrea (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 8 Nov 1998 20:59:21 -0600 (CST)
I just had my fourth miscarriage out of five pregnancies. One went to term. I've had all of the genetic testing done, nothing abnormal. I've tried using progesterone and it might have helped once (my only pregnancy to go to term). I had 2 before my daughter, and 2 since. Here's my concern: My ob says there is nothing else he can do for me, and just to keep trying. Is there anything else I can do or take to help my chances of having just one more full term pregnancy? I miscarried very early in all lost pregnancies (10, 7, 7, 5.5 weeks). Luteal Phase Deficiency is suspected, but I have tried progesterone in the last two attempts. Any suggestions or advice would truly be appreciated. By the way, I am very healthy and active and 26 years old.
