When and where did you have the surgery? Perhaps you can do an internet search for the doctor? Also, the pathology report may mention whether this was a pedunculated fibroid (outside the uterus on a stock) or sub-serosal (just under the thin covering of the uterus,) or if there was normal myometrium (uterine muscle) or endometrium (inner lining of the uterus) attached to the mass (suggesting actual cutting of the uterine wall.) You should be able to get a copy of this report.
