Advice from a professional...Pregnancy after tumor removed off uterusFrom: Joyce (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 3 Nov 1998 15:58:43 -0600 (CST)
About 3 years ago I had a tumor removed off my uterus...I was told by the doctor that there was no incision made into the tumor it had not grown into the uterus...now I am 15 weeks pregnant and because my op report was not completely filled out my OB says that she will have to do a C-section, I have no choice...I didn't even think to ask why...since my records did not include this information is there anything I can do legally?? I am upset because I may have to have a surgery that I don't necessarily need. I know it is probably for the health of myself and my baby, but I would have liked to deliver natural if I had the choice..if you could pleas advise me I would appreciate any information I could get. Thanks for listening. This will be my first child.
