Valerie,

No: there's no relation between your previous abortion and your miscarriage (we doctors name that an abortion too: a spontaneous one.) There could be a relation if you had undergone a late induced abortion and a (late) spontaneous miscarriage.

The other fact: you feeling less pregnant this time, illustrates that: this last pregnancy was not as it should, probably without an embryo (blighted ovum). And, you know, about 15-20% of all pregnancies end in a miscarriage.

So: a lot of success trying again and I hope to hear good news within a few months
