<< I recently had a miscarriage.I am wondering if I can continue the prenatals to keep my iron supply. My ob said there is nothing wrong with me. I can re-try in December. I plan on it. I want another one desperately! I am experiencing the bleeding still and mild cramps. I passed the baby naturally at the emergency room. the rest came later at home. But I am wanting to continue the pills. Any advice would be great thanks. valerie >>

Certainly you should !!!!! You should be taking vitamins ALL of your life... not just when trying again or while pregnant... I recommend taking better vitamins , than just the standard pre-natals though...many of the pre-natals contain fillers, dyes, and synthetic chemicals, and quite a few of them won't even breakdown in your system. --My wife(and I) took and still takes daily: 2 Multi's, 400 I.U. of Natural E with selenium, 1000mg of Vitamin C, 2-B-complex, 36mg of extra Iron, 1000mg of Omega-3's(EPA), GLA, 1000mg of Calcium , and 10,000 I.U of Beta Carotene (not straight vitamin A, which can be too much for pregnant mothers to be). I also recommend this to my clients and have had great success with them. Every client(and my wife) had less headaches, less sickness, recovered faster afterward, and had healthy babies...

There is SOO much research now on how vitamins will help strengthen your immune system, protect your heart, prevent from possible diseases the road, lessen the effects of aging, help to better regulate hormones, etc. that I feel that everyone should be taking vitamins all of the time.
