I'm so sorry to hear of your tragic news.

Obviously in hindsight this tragedy would not have occurred if you had a C/S. The question you are realy asking is if anything could have been done to prevent what had happened?

I'm afraid I don't know and only a review of your notes would give you an opinion. Medical legal firms advise doctors to tell patients the truth to avoid being sued. It is therefore very unlikely that your doctor is hiding anything from you.
