Re: No one responded to my Buspar Question - Why?

I have now looked Buspar up. It is a drug called Buspirone. The problem with drugs is that most doctors learn about the generic name not the brand names. In addition, brand names are different in different countries. Therefore, if you post a question using a brand name we have to look the drug up. The generic name of a drug is always written on the packet.

Buspirone is a category B1 drug. It is a drug that has been taken by only a limited number of pregnant women and women of childbearing age without an increase in the frequency of malformation or other direct or indirect harmful effects on the human fetus having been observed. Studies in animals have not shown evidence of an increased occurrence of fetal damage.
