Loud noises in pregnancyFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 26 Oct 1998 07:14:12 -0600 (CST)
Hello, I am 22 weeks pregnant, and this morning I tried to light a fire. Ha ha. Well, for one reason or another all I got was a house of smoke which lead to the fire alarm to go off. It took me about five minutes on a chair to get the thing to stop. My question is, I am really concerned I damaged the baby somehow. The noise was so loud for me, I had to cover my ears. What could this 5 minute noise have done to the baby? Hearing loss? Fetal distress? Any answers would be appreciated! Very worried mommy to be...Amy
