Dear Lauren

Please go back to your obstetrician and have a full discussion with him/her about your difficulties last time. It is impossible without the full details for anyone to comment on your labour, but it certainly sounds as though it was not straightforward. If you are not happy with the discussion ask for a copy of your notes (charts) and seek a second opinion.

I sincerely hope your experience is happier in you next delivery and am happy that your child is OK.
