Birth Options after Uterine TearFrom: Karen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 13 Oct 1998 08:40:38 -0500 (CDT)
I had a number of complications towards the end of my pregnancy. A placenta which was not nourishing my baby who was both breech and low weight. I delivered by c section and during surgery, I sustained a large uterine tear from the left corner of the incision almost up to the left fallopian tube. I have been recommended not to go for a natural birth in future pregnancies due to the risk of uterine rupture. I am interested in medical advice on this( including cause and possibility of reoccurence) and from hearing from anyone who has had same or similar experiences. Look forward to responses.
