I would like to determine knowledge and attitudes of RN's employed in perinatal nursing with regards to perinatal substance abuse. What are your experiences, training, and educational backgrounds in this area? Does more education need to be incorporated in nursing programs? What type of screening and testing is done at time of delivery? What are the most widely abused substances and what type of followup or rehab is initiated?
