Carrie No you are not in trouble. The scan at 8 weeks has an error of + or - 7 days so the scan is consistent with your dates. A fetal heart rate varries. If your babies heart rate was 140 at the instance it was measured, it may be 150 only a few seconds later. In fact, the significance of a fetal heart at 8 weeks is unknown and few conclusions can be drawn from your babies heart rate other than it is normal. Hope all goes well.
