I wish I had a system for guessing weight similar to a colleague's of mine for guessing the fetal sex. He tells every woman that he guesses they are having a boy. He then writes their name down in a little book and writes 'girl' next to the name. If they have a boy the woman congratulates him on being correct. If it is a girl and they mock him for being wrong, he brings out his book and tells them they were mistaken because he wrote 'girl' next to their name!
