Hi Rachael.....when I was pregnant with my 1st, two different OBs told me my baby was average size--7 1/2 lbs. by feel, measurement, weight gain--this was at term. I felt like the baby was really big, but what did I know, having never been pregnant. Anyway, what a surprise when the 9lb3 oz guy came out!! One of the OBs told me they are right about 50% of the time. Just thought I'd pass on the information. FYI. Oh yea, I was 7-2 at birth, my DH 3-8.
