It could go either way. Yes, this is a common side effect of Depo. I was on it for more than 7 years and faced it myself. Even when it was better, I was faced with avaginal dryness problem that made it difficult to have sex even if I wanted to. Lubricants can help with part but the lack of sex drive is not so easy. I hope this symptom gets better for her. Good luck!
