no gestational sac at 5 weeksFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netWed, 1 Oct 2003 11:51:43 -0500 (CDT)
I had a vaginal ultrasound yesterday and the doctor could not identify a gestational sac. He said it could be that it was done to early, if my dates are off. I know for sure that my LMP was 8-25-03, which put me around 5 weeks at the time of the ultrasound. Could it be that it did not show up and is really there? Are they hard to spot on an ultrasound? I have uterine didelphys and the doctor said that could make it harded to detect. Has anyone not had a sac show up at 5 weeks and still carried to term? They are doing another ultrasound in a week to check again. Any help is appreciated.
