When I first found out I was pregnant I was working at a vet clinic at the time. My doctor told me to stay away from cat litter because of the chance of contracting toxoplasmosis. This can be really harmful to your baby. It's not the litter, but the urine in the litter that contains something harmful to the baby. So if you have a cat, have someone else change the litter box. Good luck!
