Dear Cheryl, GOTO: http://www.ob-ultrasound.net This site explains a lot, gestationalsac measuring 3.9mm = 4weeks6ays+/-5days, even with IVF you still don't know exactly when implantation occured, too early to see Yolksac9/29. Ultrasound 10/6 = 5weeks6days(based on GSmeasurement not LMP)you could see Y/S, fetal poles and heartbeat or at least yolksac, fetal poles by 6 1/2weks and heartbeat by 7weeks, have patience if you only see yolksac. With 1embryo, HCG should double every 2-3days and your is doing that, U/S will tell if you have more than one but not necessarly the first time, it's still very early. Are you taking progestrone supplements? Try to relax and avoid stress and keep us posted on the new site, Marie
