Do not take the inserts. Just use the cream.. Monistate is the best. And Itch cream like vagisil. Also, Desitine is a life savor, it seals out the wetness that yoiu discharge and helps with the iritation. OMGosh it helps me big time. Yeast infection is very common during pregnancy. I don't think the contractions have anything to deal with the infection, unless its a urin, or kidney infection. Drink alot of water and cranberry juice, or pills.. It flushes you out. Take luke warm baths, that helps also. tone down on intercourse...because it just make you more irretated..down there
