Hello! I am 35 weeks pregnant after having gastric bypass on September 25, 2003. I lost 120 pounds prior to becoming pregnant. I have gained 17 pounds since becoming pregnant. I am now having problems with food. Everytime I eat I throw up. I am always tired, and have constant shakes. My ob has never had a gastric bypass patient and my surgeon has never had a pregnant patient. My primary doctor sadi to insist induction at 37 weeks, since the baby is of "normal" size. He said that if we wait much longer I may be too weak to deliver. Should I demand induction, or wait?
