clomid/pregnancy questionFrom: Alicia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 29 Sep 2003 18:04:30 -0500 (CDT)
I know that I am paranoid, so please bear with me. Okay, here is the deal. I am on Clomid, and have had 3 early miscarriages. My doc has me on clomid a month, and then off a month. 2 cycles ago I was on clomid, had a normal peroid, and last cycle I was off clomid and had a very odd peroid. I bleed about a day but it was watery blood. Now its day 5 and time to begin clomid. I have taken 3 preg. tests to make sure I am not pregnant and they are all neg, but my breasts hurt and I just feel different. Doc said no need to do a blood test just start the clomid. There is no possible way to be pregnant and still have a neg. test at this point, right? I know there is a very high risk of birth defects if clomid is taken while pregnant. At this point, 5 days after the blood there would have to be something on the test? I am just looking for reassurance, so please be patient with me and reassure! Thanks!
