I have just (yesterday) had my second early miscarriage in the last 5 months. I'm relatively sure I was pregnant since I tested + twice on hpt's and then four days later tested - and had horrible cramps before an overdue period finally came. Normally I don't have any menstrual cramps and my period comes every 29 days. The only abnormal thing about my cycle is that I've been spotting a few days before my period for the last 2 years which is right after I went off of birth control. I went to see my OBGYN after the first bad period (horrible cramps and late start), which I now think was an early miscarriage, and she has me keeping a detailed menstrual calendar for three months before she sees me again.

I'm going to make an appointment as soon as I can get in and wanted to know as much as possible beforehand. Can you give me suggestions about what questions I need to ask my OBGYN and what tests I need to ask about.

I'm really discouraged, so I would love to hear from any of you who have had early miscarriages and then succesful pregnancies. :(
