>>Anon is correct. In Kansas, insurers who issue individual policies do not have to cover pregnancy. The state of Kansas does have a "high risk pool" for those who have been turned down due to pre-existing conditions. I believe you have to prove you applied to at least two insurers who turned you down in order to qualify. I don't know what the premiums are, but I would expect them to be fairly high. Call the insurance department in Topeka.
