Well, for starts last weekend I was released from the hospital because I am1 1/2cent.dialated and I have a uranary track infection.I'm on bed rest but I was wondering can I go for a ten min. walk a couple times a week? And then there is the sex question...since i'm dialated can I have sex? And i've never had a yeast infection so I don't know what it's like, but I think I may have one because as gross as it sounds it's really itchy and it seems swollen whats going on? i checked myself with a mirror and there's nothing there so I know it's not genital herpies or anything. But I think my baby might have dropped...but I'm kinda unsure about it because I'm fairly small as a person. I'm all baby. but anyway, I'm afraid that with all of these things that are going on with my body at 32weeks, that I'm going to loose the baby or i'm gonna have him early, but I still am afraid he is going to die, because I lost my son 2years ago to herpies 1 a common cold sore, the uncle had an open coldsore and kissed him.So can someone please tell me whats going on with my body and answer my questions?thank you so much.

Dear Christina,I'm sorry for your loss of your son2yearsago, so you are cautious at this point.32weeks is too soon to go into labor, so please don't do anything without consulting your doctor as 10minute walks&sex are not normally a part of betrest. It's important that you keep hydrated as becomming dehydrated can provoke PTL as can an UTI, you might also inquire re ripening the baby's lungs if it doesn't look like you'll make it to term, but this will depend on your total medical condition. Is your doctor aware of the herpes related loss and have plans been made around that?UTI and Yeast infection are 2different infections, however, medication for the UTI may cause you to have other reactions including advesre drug reactions which may start out as itching with/without rash, etc so it's important that you get checked out again today, call your doctor, ask questions, tell doctor that you have itching etc and if doctor is not available call and/or go to ER/L&D, keep us posted,TakeCare,Marie
