i am a 43 yr old mother of one(i gave birth at 39) with FSH levels running anywhere from 12(last month) to 25 (in oct 02) this cycle FSH was 17 and MDsuggested IM Perganol RX for the first time. Dosage is 3 ampules each day along with estrogen PO twice daily. isn't this a large dose for a first time. Could there be more side effects or a greater chance of a multiple birth? what do you think my chances of conceiving are . I've read your only as good as your highest FSH level of record even if you test lower that cycle. I'm also going to be doing the IM injections myself. Do you think I can correctly administer to my own hip? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
