I don't think you have anything to worry about. I had what I thought was my 37 week check-up and after an ultrasound this morning, the doctor told me I am 38 1/2 weeks, which is kind of what I suspected. She did the group b strep and an exam today also...no bleeding or spotting, but she said it would be perfectly normal. I, too, was one centimeter dilated....must be pretty common at this stage.
