Baby Not Stretching Out at 22 WeeksFrom: ADH (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 5 Sep 2003 17:52:41 -0500 (CDT)
First Pg, Age 30. I had to repeat my 20 week ultrasound b/c my baby was all curled up at the bottom of the uterus and they couldnt get good shots of the cord or heart. So now at 22 weeks I just had it redone and he did pretty much the same thing. He is curled up at the bottom of my uterus (right above cervix). They were eventually able to poke and prod him enough to get him to move to get the shots but then he went right back to where he was. My questions are 1. Is it at all worrisome that the baby doesnt seem to want to stretch out? 2. Is this likely why Im not showing a lot? 3.Is there any danger to premature labor etc. since he is sitting right on top of the cervix? I tend to get kicked/elbowed there a lot. Thanks!
