I am also 36 weeks now and I have the same feelings as you. Although they feel concerning, I really don't think they are anything to worry about. Contractions you will feel over your entire uterus. They usually start at the top and radiate down. The best explaination I have gotten is ligament/muscle strain. The baby is getting so big in your pelvis that everything has to stretch to accomodate it. I seem to notice it more when she tries to move around too. Good luck to you....we're almost to the end!
