Hi Jennifer,

Don't panic, ultrasounds are not 100% accurate for determining weight. It's normal to have variances from your due date. My first daughter measured 21 and 22 weeks for all of her measurements and ended up coming out at only 6 lbs full-term. This pregnancy my little one measured under my due date in some measurements, exactly correct on others and over on others. You very well could be further along than you think, but usually not more than +-5 days from your early ultrasound. You have to take into consideration that birthweight can vary so much on a baby that is born full term. I think anywhere between 6 and 9 is average. If you are measuring big later on in your pregnancy, your doctor might order another ultrasound to check growth and fluid, etc. If everything else looked okay....I'd say you are just going to have a healthy baby boy!

Congratulations!
