Chronic neck and shoulder pain and pregnancyFrom: Ginger (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 31 Aug 2003 18:38:03 -0500 (CDT)
I have one child and would very much like to have more children. However, I have a neck and shoulder condition that has been very painful over the last three years. Despite various diagnoses and treatments, there has been no solution to the problem and little progress. I plan to get pregnant in the coming quarter and know that I will have this pain during pregnancy. I am looking for an ObGyn that is a pain management specialist. My question is, how would I go about searching for and choosing an ObGyn with this narrow focus within his/her specialty? Any referrals or suggestions would be very welcome. We live in Dana Point (Orange County) California.
